Volunteering with People Who Care is a special opportunity
to help a Neighbor live independently in their own home and familiar surroundings
a little longer by just doing the everyday things that we all take for granted such
as, driving, shopping or paying bills – non-medical assistance.
People Who Care volunteers primarily assist adults who are no longer able to drive
due to a disability, chronic illness, recent surgery or aging related issues.
People Who Care volunteers are able to choose from a diverse range of unique volunteer
opportunities. We have dozens of programs for our volunteers to choose from - planning
special events to driving to the doctor to doing minor home repairs. The best part
about volunteering with People Who Care is that FLEXIBILITY is our middle name.
Our volunteers do what they can when they can choosing between either volunteering
regularly or being "on call" to help out when they're able.
