Margaret's Legacy - Endowment Program

People Who Care established an endowment fund with the Arizona Community Foundation because of the generous financial gift of one of our Neighbors, Margaret Rhea Lisman. Margaret was born in Tennessee in August of 1922. We don’t know much about her life except that she was an avid supporter of education and the arts, had a Masters degree from ASU and taught school in California and Arizona. We started providing assistance for Margaret in 2002 and she died April 16, 2008.

However, we do know that her legacy gift will become part of her life story because it will provide long-term financial sustainability for our outreach. The reliable funding stream provided by the fund will allow us to support meaningful education, outreach and additional volunteers contributing to the programs of People Who Care.

The establishment of the Legacy Program allows those touched by People Who Care the opportunity to give back in a most personal and meaningful way. If you have any questions regarding the People Who Care Endowment Fund, please contact the Prescott office at 445-2480 and speak with Fritzi.
